Grandma's Pound Cake

This pound cake is my Grandma Causby's recipe and I've been making it for years for Thanksgiving. It never disappoints - just ask Clem Sterk.....he even freezes the leftovers.

Ingredients: 
1 cup Crisco
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour, sifted
6 large eggs (at room temperature)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix all ingredients for 10 minutes until light and fluffy. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Pour batter into a greased tube pan or a Bundt pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes - maybe 5 to 10 more minutes if not done.
