Watermelon-Peach Smoothie

I love smoothies and nothing is better than a cold, delicious smoothie after a good workout.  This one is my favorites and there is no need to add extra sugar. 

This recipe is super easy thank goodness to my Ninja Master Prep.  Of course you could use any blender that you have.


Serves 1

Ingredients: 
Watermelon, chopped
Raspberries, frozen, chopped
Peaches, frozen, chopped
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt

1.  Mix all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Serve.

Of course you could use any fruit that you like or what is in season.  If you don't use watermelon make sure to add some orange juice to thin out the smoothie.

Note:  I often buy fruit when it is in season and freeze it so you can make smoothies year-round. Make sure you place the fruit pieces on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and freeze.  Once fruit is frozen you can put in a freezer bag and store in the freezer for 3-6 months.
