Southern Banana Pudding
I've been craving banana pudding so this Labor Day weekend I decided this would be the perfect dessert to take to a friend's BBQ. It's super easy to make but please note you will want to make it only a couple of hours prior to serving as the bananas will turn brown.
Enjoy.....your guests will devour it in no time!

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed
milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (5 ounce) package instant banana cream
pudding mix
2 1/2 cups cold milk
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix pudding mix with 2 1/2 cups of COLD whole milk. Whisk for 2 minutes. After 5 minutes fold in cool whip.
2. In a separate large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
3. Combine both bowls together and add about 2 bananas to the pudding mixture.
4. Layer with vanilla wafers on bottom and sides of 13x9 glass dish, then top with sliced bananas. Add layer of pudding mixture and repeat layer one more time.
5. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Crush up some extra vanilla wafers and top with wafers and sliced bananas.
* Thanks Lanette for the recipe. :)
