Cherry Blondies

Yummy!!!


Makes 24 servings
  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried tart cherries
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with non stick spray. 
2. With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugars until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Then add eggs and vanilla extract.  
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. 
4. Add the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl of wet ingredients and slowly combine. Then add chocolate chips and cherries. 
5. Press cookie mix into the baking pan. 
6. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs. 
7. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack and store in container for up to 5 days.
